Among its beauties, the city of La Paz has spectacular sceneries and colorful sunsets. When it comes to cultural attractions we have to mention the Whale Museum, the city theater and the Central Library, among others. One of the emblematic places in the city is the boardwalk, a sideway that runs along the bay and that is full of restaurants, shops and hotels, along with being one of the favorite places of the local people to enjoy the sunset.
The main beach is known for having quiet and warm waters, perfect to practice aquatic activities like: kayaking, snorkeling, banana, diving and wave running. Among the most popular beaches are: La Concha, El Caimancito, El Tesoro, Pichilingue, Tecolote and Coyote.
When it comes to the sports practiced in La Paz, you’ll enjoy sport fishing, golfing (the destination has three first-rate golf courses), water sports and adventure activities.
The Espiritu Santo Island is one of the places that you cannot miss, since its colorful reefs allow snorkeling and you can watch dolphins, mantas, angel fish and hammer fish. In the island you can camp and enjoy eco-tourist activities, hiking and birdwatching.
